Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Customers rave about the curry mutton, frequently cited as the best in the West Midlands. The rich and tender meat paired with fragrant spices leaves visitors coming back for more. The large portions offered deliver real value for money, especially considering the reasonable price range of £10–20. Friendly staff provide excellent service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that amplifies the dining experience. Many patrons appreciate the variety on the menu, including quick bites and delightful small plates; perfect for sharing or solo enjoyment. Fresh ingredients shine through in every dish, ensuring a consistent quality that elicits positive reactions from its clientele.

Most Disliked

While most experiences are positive, some patrons express disappointment regarding portion sizes for side orders. For example, the coleslaw served with curry dishes has received criticism for being stingy. However, recent feedback indicates improvements in portion sizes, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to customer satisfaction. A few guests mentioned longer wait times during busy hours, particularly at lunchtime. It’s worth being patient, as the food's quality compensates for the wait, but be prepared if you choose peak dining times. Although the restaurant is primarily Caribbean-focused, those seeking a broader international menu might find options limited.

Curry goat is really nice but I am being disappointed when I pay £2 for coleslaw and receive 1 spoon of slaw in the pot sorry but the slaw is the best thing to go with my curry it’s only cabbage and carrot come on fill the pot up Edited Ordered again today 19/06/2024 was satisfied with the coleslaw amount and the small meal there was plenty thank you for listening
